  • After completing the filling of the application form and putting in all the necessary details, you are to email back the form. Registering Via Fax

The UIF is known to have various application methods and registering by fax is one of them. If employers want to register by fax then they will have to go through the following process;

  • The first thing to note before registering by fax is to know the category that you have fallen into. One of the major reasons is so that you will know the forms that you will need to pick. If you are a domestic employer or a business employer you would use separate forms to go about any of this and you will be able to get any of these sites from the department of labour or the depart of labour website.
  • The next step is to fill in the form, you are to fill in for your employees and provide the necessary details that are needed.
  • Once you are done with the form completion you are to fax it back to the UIF at 086 713 3000.

Registering Via Telephone

Registering UIF via telephone is quite easy as you will just need to follow certain instructions that are being given to you.

  • You are to get the necessary information be it from a business employer or a domestic employer, several things are needed and you will need to get them before even making the phone call.
  • You are to phone the UIF at (012) 337 1680 and you are required to follow the instructions so everything can run smoothly.

Registering Via Mail

Registering via mail requires you to know all the correct details that are needed before you begin the registration process.

  • Get the necessary form which is required of you. One thing you should have in mind is that the form of a domestic employer is different from that of a business employer.
  • Fill in all the necessary information, do not forget to leave out the space for the reference number if you do not have one and that for the signature as well.

Registering at a Labour Centre

Another way to register the UIF is to do it in a labour centre, this can be fast and easy for you but you will need to follow the process.

  • All documents needed for the UIF registration need to be available before going to the labour centre.
