The UIF has made it possible that everyone who contributes to the scheme can benefit from it in the long run. You are to contribute 1% of your salary monthly as an employer and you will have to educate your employees in following this process as well.

The UIF scheme benefits those who have been contributing to the system for six months and above, you are entitled to benefits and you can use that money which is available to take care of yourself in those times of need.

The UIF scheme was designed to help everyone that is involved. Every employer and employee is supposed to contribute to this and the benefits are massive. The UIF pays out about 38-58% of your salary once it is time to receive your benefits/claims and no matter how small your salary is you should make your monthly contribution.

The lowest money the UIF will pay you is the minimum wage which is R3 500 while the highest should be about R6 730. If you earn higher the UIF will be able to find a way to increase your benefits/claims. There are so many things that are possible and so many benefits that come with the UIF. You will have to know more about this system to be able to use it.
